Location privacy for high-profile lives.
Executives, high-net-worth individuals and family offices may need the utility of GPS tracking without giving a service provider a readable record of movements. Ghost is built around that boundary: location is encrypted inside the tracker before upload.
Not even the tracking company can read your Ghost route.
During local Bluetooth onboarding, your device gives the Ghost tracker the encryption details it needs. The tracker encrypts location before it sends anything to CipherGPS. Our servers carry and store encrypted location under a pseudonym; your authorised devices hold the keys needed to show the journey.
What Ghost protects
Ghost limits exposure of location content if stored tracking records are accessed without authorisation. CipherGPS cannot read the live route or the stored journey, and the application packet uses a pseudonym instead of the tracker IMEI. Ghost encryption keys stay outside our systems.
What it does not erase
Encryption is not a promise that every piece of information about a purchase or mobile connection disappears. Payment, shipping and support interactions can create records outside the location service. Mobile operators and network infrastructure also handle connection metadata. Consider the complete operational picture when planning discreet travel.
Control stays with your devices.
Set up over Bluetooth
Your encryption details pass from your device to the tracker nearby. CipherGPS does not receive the Ghost public or private key during setup.
Decrypt on authorised devices
Only devices holding your private decryption keys can turn encrypted records into a viewable location history. Keep a secure key backup: losing every authorised device and key means we cannot recover the history or restore Ghost tracker access.
Questions for discreet travel.
Does Ghost provide real-time location to CipherGPS staff?
No readable Ghost location reaches our servers. The service routes encrypted content so your authorised devices can retrieve and decrypt it.
What should I prepare before a journey?
Check the destination's coverage and hardware requirements, keep a secure backup of your keys, and decide whether local PC alerts fit your travel plan. A connected tracker still depends on power and mobile network availability.
Are movement or geofence alerts available?
Neither tracker sends them as standard. An optional desktop app can check your vault locally and send SMS, email or push notifications while the PC is on and the app is running. Sending a notification shares its message and destination with the chosen delivery service.
Can Ghost replace a security team?
No. A private GPS tracker is one tool for visibility. It does not replace physical security, travel planning or emergency response procedures.
